Nicole Kairys is an attorney who has practiced family law in Western Pennsylvania and with BGMS for over 17 years. Prior to that time, she practiced family law in Eastern Pennsylvania. Nicole is highly-skilled at representing clients in all aspects of support, divorce and custody matters. She is also experienced in the practice of collaborative law and is certified in mediation.
Nicole is an active member of the Family Law Sections of the Pennsylvania and Allegheny County Bar Associations, the Collaborative Law Association of Southwestern Pennsylvania (CLASP), and the Allegheny County Bar Association Collaborative Law Committee. Nicole currently serves as Co-Chair of the Programming Committee of the Allegheny County Bar Association, Family Law Section. In that capacity, she is responsible for organizing, implementing, and presenting continuing legal education programs for law practitioners in all areas of practice in Allegheny County. Nicole also serves on the Nominating Committee for the Allegheny County Bar Association, Family Law Section and the Retreat Committee for the Collaborative Law Association. She participates in the Mock Trial Program for Advanced Family Law Advocacy students at the University of Pittsburgh, in which she assists current law students in learning the skills necessary to effectively advocate on behalf of family law clients. Nicole is a member of the Matrimonial Inns of Court and has volunteered her professional services in the Pittsburgh Pro Bono Clinic. While attending law school, she was a law clerk in the Family Law Division of the Chester County Court of Common Pleas, Pennsylvania and practiced in the pro bono Family Law Clinic in Delaware County, Pennsylvania.
Nicole resides in the North Hills of Pittsburgh with her husband and two teenage sons.
